Sparky, (we call her Sace Versace without the Ver) will make someone an incredible companion dog. She is a 3 yr old,14 lb Poodle/Yorkie mix. Once she is allowed to come to you at her own pace, she loves to be loved on, seeking petting, treats, and she loves to be talked to. She tends to be space protective until she accepts you. She will clearly bond tightly, as she has to her foster mom. She is not a good fit for kids - she can get protective/territorial. Older kids only please (16+). She clearly will need time to accept but when she does, she is all in.

Sace  says,” Take me on walks, I love that! I am a smart cookie.  I have learned to sit, come, working on stay (treats gently accepted). I am not allowed on the white carpet in the living room and stay out. (but not too far away, I like to keep close)I can sleep with you if you like, but am happy under your bed, or even my own bed. Either way I dance O Happy Day when you arise.

Sace has not had experiences with other dogs, so for now she needs to be placed in a home with no other dogs.

The adoption fee of $200.00 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. Although we do the best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can make no guarantee. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED!
