Beagle lover? Never had a Beagle before? Either way, here is the most loving, gentle Beagle mix that you will ever meet. This is Leila. Leila is about 3 years old and is about 30 lbs although she is fairly short. Leila was at a high kill shelter in Kentucky with a very painful wound on her back when a Facebook campaign raised the funds to get her the medical care she needed. Once healed, she made her way to her foster family in Illinois, where she immediately stole their hears with her sweet and gentle disposition. Leila loves pretty much everything, but she especially loves all of the attention and cuddling that she can get from people. She is extremely gentle and has never once growled at anything. She is wonderful with children young and old, and she gets along with all other dogs. And... drum roll.... she behaves perfectly around cats! She does not bark unless she is super happy to see you, and then she sometimes runs around squealing with happiness. She walks like a dream on a leash and loves to sniff around. She is happy to relax with you while you watch TV or hang out with you in the backyard. All Leila really wants is to be with her family. If you are looking for a loyal family dog, you must come and meet this sweet girl.

The adoption fee of $300.00 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family.
