The Sweetheart with So Much Potential

Buttercup is a gentle, well-behaved 1 yr old terrier mix who is just 21 lbs. Rescued by Starfish Animal Rescue from a difficult past, she’s slowly coming out of her shell and starting to believe that humans can be kind.

Despite her timid start, Buttercup’s playful spirit is shining through. She  loves  toys, bones, and playing with the resident dogs in her foster home. With her long legs and incredible jumps, she’d make an  excellent candidate for agility training —if that’s your thing!

Buttercup needs a patient, understanding adopter who can give her the time and love she needs to continue building confidence. In return, you’ll gain a loyal, loving companion with a heart full of gratitude.

The adoption fee of $450 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!
