Bernice is quite possibly the happiest dog you will ever meet. She is a 60 lb Lab mix lady. She is happy to meet everyone – people and animals alike. She loves to play with you and with other dogs. She loves to play fetch and her favorite toy is a big rope toy to fetch and carry around and also to play tug with the other dogs. She has been good with the cats, however if another dog shows too much interest, she is quick to join to try to play with them. She is housetrained and a wonderful companion. While she is always ready to play outside, at 5 years old, she is also content just hanging out with you. Bernice is a tripod, and even though that does not slow her down in the least she does best on floors that have some traction. She also goes up and down stairs with ease. Since she loves to run and play, her ideal home would have a fenced yard. Bernice is an all around great girl that would make a great addition to any family size. Her favorite thing on this earth is going to be YOU.

Bernice is currently undergoing her final treatment for heartworm. She will make a complete recovery and can finish out her treatment with her adoptive family (and the rescue pays for all of this

The adoption fee of $400 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family.
