Milo is a lab/hound mix just under a year old and 45 pounds. This sweet boy spent 4 long months at a shelter in Kentucky but you would never know it. His joyful personality and love for all people radiates from every part of his body. He gets so excited his tail wags turn into fully body wiggles that are just the cutest! The lab in him makes him very food motivated - he is crate trained, potty trained, has learned sit and is working very hard to learn stay (but sometimes the body wiggles make it hard to stay still). He’s been using his hound nose to play lots of food puzzles which he is learning very quickly! Milo loves dogs and does well with cats too. Milo would love to have a dog to play with in his new home but he would be ok as an only dog too he would just give all of his affection to his humans.

If you are interested in adopting/meeting this pup , please complete our online adoption application that you can find here: https://www.starfishanimalrescue.com/adopt/dog-adoption-application  . Your application will be reviewed by our team and if it is a good fit, we will send to the foster family to set up a meet!

The adoption fee of $400 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!

*please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Thank you for your understanding.
