Coco is a sweet little 8 year-old, 13lb Shih Tzu who’s always ready for a walk or a snuggle.

Coco has come a long way since she arrived in rescue. She has most of her sight but does have dry eyes.

She’s really drawn to women. not so great with kids and slow to warm up to men but she does if allowed to have time. She’d do great in a quiet home where she could be spoiled, and she does well with the resident small breed dogs.

Coco will be perfect for an adult only home where she can spend lots of time getting love, walks, and attention from owners who cherish her. If that is you, please complete the application!

The adoption fee of $400 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!

*please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Thank you for your understanding.
