Esmerelda, or Essy for short, is a smart and beautiful girl! Shei s around 2 years old and weighs about 15 lbs. She looks like a red fox, her white socks and tip of tail along with a tiny trickle of white up the center of her face - are just beautiful. I get stopped every time we walk so people can visit with her. She is definitely a true mixed breed with some Pom and Terrier in her. With her super sweet personality and desire-to-please attitude, she is catching on to everything we have worked on. Essy does well going potty outside and will use a pad when we need to be gone longer. Her leash manners are quite nice with the understanding that sometimes we give her time to be ready to move on.
She has a real affection for men, smart girl! She will gravitate towards them when we walk, if a man and woman come over she will go to the man first but that being said, she is loveable to everyone she meets. We have played with big dogs, little dogs, and everything in between - once she feels safe, she wants to run and play. She is so fast and loves to run!
She has been around children but not living with so I have not seen how she will interact. I do believe, however, because she is so gentle and kind if she were treated gently, she would do fine. She has not te been exposed to cats
