Meet Wally, a good natured, sweet 4 lb Pekingese mix pup who is around 12 weeks old
He came up a few weeks ago with two siblings. He allows his siblings to eat first, drink first, he is polite all the way around.
He plays well with others, he enjoys watching his foster mom throw the ball and her fetching the ball for him.
Wally goes to work with his foster mom, he is very gentle in greeting new people. He almost becomes jelly in their arms.
Wally is the smartest little thing, he leads in teaching his siblings.
Wally is both pen and crate trained, and is doing very well with potty training. His foster home has a fenced in yard, which helps with training. In the yard, he will follow each foot step. Super cute! and he loves other dogs and cats
He is on the smaller side, therefore kids over 10 is recommended.
If you are interested in adopting/meeting , please complete our online adoption application that you can find here: https://www.starfishanimalrescue.com/adopt/dog-adoption-application . Your application will be reviewed by our team and if it is a good fit, we will send to the foster family to set up a meet!
The adoption fee of $500 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!
*please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Thank you for your understanding.
