Mandy is a 11 month old fun and loving older puppy - she could be a mix of Golden Retriever and terrier.  She loves to be outside, chasing squirrels and exploring the smells in the yard.  She is working on potty training and letting her people know when she wants to go out.

When inside, Mandy is busy with puzzles and toys that make her think.  She and our other foster wrestle and play for hours at a time, hardly making a sound.  Mouth sparring is one of their favorite activities.  She should be in a home with dogs her size or bigger as those are who she gets along with the best

Mandy likes to give and receive affection, but she does have an independent streak: she isn’t a lap dog. Her fur is very soft and velvety - plenty of brushing will keep that beautiful coat in shape!

Mandy is just now learning to walk on a leash.  She doesn’t pull but is still learning to take direction from her family on how to walk. She is a pup and will learn quickly!

Mandy will bark when she feels the situation requires it, but in general she “keeps her thoughts to herself”.  We’ve begun training her to sit and she is picking it up well.

Mandy is a sweet, girl with adorable freckles on her nose.   What a cutie!  With continued training, she’s going to make a wonderful family dog!

The adoption fee of $200 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we CAN NOT AND WILL NOT make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!
