Jalapeno's journey hasn't been the easiest, but his resilient spirit shines through in every wag of his tail. This 11 lb., approximately 2 year old, black/tan cutie might take a moment to warm up to new faces, especially men, but once he trusts you, get ready for endless cuddles, kisses and tail wags!

This little guy's interests are varied. He's a fan of leisurely walks, basking in the sunshine, and indulging in the occasional squirrel chase (under vigilant supervision, of course!). While he's selective about his canine companions, Jalapeno gets along famously with dogs his size or slightly larger. As for feline friends, he's mostly indifferent, but always curious!

Indoors, Jal is the epitome of laid-back. He's a connoisseur of cozy naps in sunlit spots, and his gentle demeanor makes him the perfect Netflix binge-watching buddy. However, don't be surprised if he engages you in some spirited "conversations" – this little chatterbox loves to express himself!

Your application will be reviewed by our team and if it is a good fit, we will send to the foster family to set up a meet!

The adoption fee of $400 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!
