Meet Tank, a 5 lb hound mix boy born around 11/11. It is not common to associate the name Tank with something that weighs 5 pounds. This little guy has that name likely because of his amply sized tummy and the wide-spaced hind-quarters. I expect he’ll grow out of these in time. Tank is a wonderful cuddle-buddy, but loves to play hard until he uses up his reserved energy. He loves all people and an afternoon spent with a cat went fine. He’s not been exposed to other dogs, but we have no reason to believe that would be a problem.Tank spends his nights in a kennel. He will tell you (with a high-pitched puppy yelp) he doesn’t prefer that, but once
lights are off and people aren’t making any noise, he curls up and usually sleeps through the night. He knows he should do his business outside, but he’s still learning how to tell his people that he needs to go outside. Take him outside and you’ll quickly get results.
What are the ingredients in Tank? Hard to tell. We see Jack Russell terrier, others see hound…even St. Bernard eyes.
What we do know is that he’s been a joy in our home and he can be a joy in yours.

We are looking for homes with kids 5 and older only please, this includes visiting grandkids. 

The adoption fee of $500. will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family.
