Mango is a very sweet dog once she trusts someone. She is a 1 yr old hound mix girl who weighs around 48 lbs. She is housebroken, sits on command, and is very patient when you put her leash/collar on. She walks beautifully (doesn't pull) - but do not expect a fast-paced walk - she likes to smell everything. Mango is still a puppy. We are working on her not surfing the counters and not jumping on people - she gets so excited when you walk through the door that she can hardly help herself.

Her Foster Mom has not seen her interact with children yet - but she seems interested when she sees them. When she meets a new person (an adult), she will cringe and hides behind her foster Mom. Her Foster Mom is working on her trust issues with her and recently brought her to an outdoor restaurant that allowed dogs. At first, Mango was timid - but once at the table, she was perfectly relaxed and well-behaved. And if you like to cuddle – she's your girl! Mango is one of those dogs that will blossom in time once you gain her trust - in two weeks, she has made tremendous progress.

We are looking for a home with kids 10 or older and a fully fenced in yard with minimum 5 ft high fence (no invisible fences)
