Hello, I am  Jake  a Pyrenees Mix and am approximately 8 months old. My foster family thinks I am mixed with husky too! That being said, I would like someone who has time for me, as I need exercise. I am very smart. We have been working on leash training and slowly getting the hang of it. I am also very playful, I love playing with toys and emptying out the toy basket, it’s so much fun! I am also very affectionate, thrive on positive reinforcement and am treat motivated.  I would love someone who will spend time training me. I have already learned to sit and am working on my house manners. I am a bit of foodie and love to be around food… yum!! It’s important to keep this in mind, as often I appear where ever the food is! I can get a little too brave and my foster mom says it’s good to keep the food off the counters when I am around.  I am currently being fostered with two other dogs and don’t mind being part of the group or an only dog.  An active home would be best. I do need some positive reinforcement and reminders. I can sometimes get in my foster brothers’ space, if you have another dog, I would love to run around the yard with them! Not sure about cats, I am playful and can get a little mouthy and a bit excited. My foster parents say it’s important to have manners and rules, I am willing to learn! Older children are preferred along with a fenced yard. PREVIOUS DOG EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.. Being rescued is the best, and I am looking for my forever home to help me shine!

The adoption fee of $350 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family.
