Hi, I’m Nova a sweet 5-year-old girl and weigh around 10 lbs. I’m shy so it takes me a few days to build trust and gain confidence, but once I do, I like to spend my time with people. I enjoy the quiet and am ok with laying in my bed by myself. I get happy when I’m given attention and will excitedly welcome you when you get home. I comforted knowing someone is with me, even if they aren’t in the same room as me. I love going outside frequently to explore the yard (a fence would be ideal) and am pretty much potted trained. I am not used to a leash and walking and get discouraged when there’s a lot of movement or noise outside. However, my confidence has improved, and I can enjoy walks and exploring the neighborhood with some patience. I’m currently in heat, so my behavior towards other dogs has been distant and a bit defensive when they get too close at times. As I’ve gotten comfortable with my surroundings and with my foster brother and sister, I’ve become much more receptive and have started to seek them out to play. I don’t hate the crate but would prefer to spend sleeping in my bed outside the crate. I will be needing a cherry eye repair during my spay procedure. I look forward to not having that irritation in my eye. With patience and care, I’ll be a great friendly companion to a loving home. Won’t you consider me for adoption?

The adoption fee of $400 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family.
