Hi!  My name is Leia.  My brothers Chewy, Han, sister Princess, and I are being fostered by Starfish Animal Rescue in Leland, Illinois until our forever families show up.  Could that be you?

They estimate my birthday to be around October 30, 2021.

I’m going to make an excellent addition to a loving family.  I’m as sweet as they come, smart, cuddly, loving, happy and cute!  I am just a baby right now, so I am still working on my housetraining.  My foster mom says I’m doing a good job!

I know how to “sit” and “down” (laying down) and am working on “Shake” (giving paw).  I love to stay close to my foster mom and can often be found sitting or lying at her feet.  I have a very calm personality and really enjoy cuddling and snuggling, but also enjoy playing with toys.  Nobody knows for sure what breed I am or how big I’ll get, but my foster mom says she would guess that I’m some type of cattle dog or heeler mix and will probably be a medium to large size when I grow up.  I guess what you can say for sure is that I’m 100% rescue.

The adoption fee of $450 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family.
