What could be better this winter than having Jack Frost nipping at your nose? Jack Frost is an adorable terrier/mixed breed puppy, who is initially timid, but warms up quickly. He was born around October 6. Once he is comfortable in his surroundings, he is an absolute goofball! He looks like a grumpy old man, but his personality is far from it! He keeps his fosters laughing with his silly puppy behavior. He bats at toys like a cat, which given his big dog paws, is heart meltingly adorable. Jack Frost is a big ol cheater when it comes to playing tug of war (He’s figured out he can win by grabbing at your end!). When he sees his favorite humans, he gives the cutest little “ah-whoo”. He loves food and hopping around like a bunny while waiting for you to fill his bowl. Jack Frost has the best energy level. He gives his all for a short time, before dramatically flopping to the ground for some ear scratches and belly rubs. Jack Frost also loves playing with the 6 and 8 year old humans in the home, but he can be a bit nippy when he’s excited, so always have a toy to redirect him! He does well with redirection, so it is just typical puppy/teething behavior. He is great with the 2 adult dogs in the home, and would love a furry sibling in his forever home! Jack Frost is an amazing puppy, who deserves the unconditional love his forever home will give him!
Jack Frost is considered a special needs puppy, due to mild vision impairment. He has nystagmus in both eyes, which is causing him to have minor trouble with sight. His fosters believe it is more of a depth perception issue, as he can see his surroundings.e's adapting incredibly well, but he would do best in a home with no split levels or open stairs. Jack Frost is an absolute joy, and with minor accommodations, will be an amazing dog for anyone willing to show him the unconditional love he deserves!
The adoption fee of $400 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family.
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!
