Meet Norris! 

Norris is an easy-going and friendly hound mix and is estimated to be 5-6 years old. Norris seems to fit in wherever he

goes, and he is doing well in his foster home with kids (ages 3, 7, 12) and two resident puppies. He thinks the puppies

have too much energy, but he will play with them during the day. He is happy to spend most of the day resting, but is

always eager to go for walks and sniff around the fenced-in yard. Norris enjoys his crate, but is also learning that dog

beds and couches are comfortable places to rest too. He seems to also be house trained because he has not had an

accident yet. Norris enjoys being outside and probably spent a lot of time outside before coming to Illinois. When he first

arrived, he tried to curl up in the wood chips for the night. However, he was so happy to be able to sleep inside! Norris is

enjoying all of the attention he is getting and is starting to learn some manners. He likes to counter surf, but he has been

very responsive so far to corrections. He is eager to please and would love to find a loving family to call his own.

The adoption fee of $300 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!
