TD is a 2 yr old, 9 lb ChiWeenie/JRT mix who loves walks, car rides (he’s a great passenger), being held/carried, and burrowing under the blankets (both in bed and in his crate). He’s a snuggler and if not on your lap, then he’ll lie alongside your leg. He lacks formal training but is very eager to please (he responds to “no” well). He’s very “nosey” when greeting other dogs and they sometimes find him to be “rude”.  After all the excitement of meeting, his reactions vary. Sometimes he wants to play, other times he is content to just sit and visit. He’s friendly and everyone who meets him thinks he’s adorable.  He enjoys fetching stuffies and running around the house with them. 

He has a high chase instinct causing him to immediately lunge after bicyclists and kids riding skateboards, scooters, etc. He reacts to motorcycles but not cars. While on leash, he can be corrected and this work will need to be continued, especially if he is walked more than he is in a yard.  Without any chase distractions, he walks very well on leash.

We would like his new family to have older kids only please 12+, and to be home more often than not. If there is another dog, it should be a laid back, calm dog. Cats are not recommended.
