Hi I am Maggie and am about 6 months old. Starfish brought my siblings and I up from Kentucky to help us find our forever families. We think that I am a Aussie shep/border collie/beagle mix. My foster Mom and Dad say I am full of personality! We have been working on learning to play catch and frisbee and I am a quick learner. We are also working on leash training, so that I can take more walks around the neighborhood. I am great with kids and other dogs and love to play. Just please be aware, that I am still young, active and playful myself! I love spending time in the yard, and am always willing to help out or add to my stick collection. I often hear my foster mom say things like, "Maggie is that another stick?" or "How did that get in the house?" My foster mom has a lot of rules about not jumping on the couch/bed, but I really am quite a lap dog and love spending time around people. Shhh...secretly my foster Dad sneaks in couch time, as I like to be nearby. I do need some training to improve my puppy manners. Sometimes, I am really really excited and will jump, but am quick to listen when corrected,. Did I tell you, I am a really smart girl? I hope that when I am adopted, that you have time to spend with me to help me shine. In return, I have lots of smiles and tails wags!!

A fully fenced in yard (no electric fences) is preferred for placement. Active family with logs of time to spend with Maggie is required.

The adoption fee of $450 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. Although we do the best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can make no guarantee. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED!
