Hello, my name is Nate.  (however I do not respond to that name – so feel  free to rename me even though it is a cute name).  I am a Yorkie mix boy, about 1 yr old and 10-ish lbs. I am a real people person.  I do play with my new foster families dogs but really like my new foster parents or anyone who visits.  I love to play fetch, and with any toy.  I’m a little finicky on my food and am still trying to find what I prefer most.  

I am not a runner but I did go under my foster parent’s fence once – but kinda hung around – did not bolt.    

In general I do bark but not a lot.  I do bark at bicycles and roller bladers .  When my foster mom tells me to stop I do so some of the time.  

I do not like my crate so much – but I’m sure it will grow on me.    

I am potty trained.  I stand by the door if I have to go out.  I mark my spot by lifting my leg.     That has decreased significantly since I’ve been in my foster home.  

I am soooo sweet, and a little needy, very affectionate.   I want to sit with you all the time.  Could be because I’m new and a little insecure.  

Nate would get along belong with just about any family – but preferably where someone is home most of the time.  He is still young and wants attention and wants to play.  He is very friendly and wants to please.
