Pal and Coco are a bonded shih tzu pair that were lucky enough to find their way to Starfish when their owner became very ill and could no longer care for them.. They were loved by their owner who wants the best for them Pal is 6 and Coco is 9. They love being with their people and when they are not in sight of them they will whimper. They will need someone who works from home or is home more often than not. They are bonded and don't venture away from each other for very long and will look for each other. They are making progress in their potty training. The like their crate to relax in with the door open but not to sleep in it. Pal and Coco like to sleep with their people and give snuggles galore. They are an affection low key pair. They like everyone and don't mind other dogs. Cats are not a problem except Pal thinks they are dogs and wants to play with them. They enjoy being outside. Coco's favorite pastime is to squeek her toys and empty her toy basket. Pal likes to run around with the resident pooches. Pal and Coco will need to be adopted together and will melt your heart. Coco has a seizure disorder and is on medication. She has had a couple seizures while in our care. We are continuing to adjust her medications to help manage them.
The adoption fee of $400 for both will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. Although we do the best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can make no guarantee. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED!
