My name is Makayla and I am a lab mix pup born at the end of May. I am super happy,  fun  and active girl who is still learning how to behave and use my manners. I am a quick learner though!  I know sit and stay already. I was very shy and scared when I first arrived in my foster home but now I am very friendly, outgoing, funny and full of energy. I must be where the people are so I follow my foster mom from room to room! 

I love to play with the dog in my foster home plus I love chewing on all of my toys.  There are cats in my foster home and I’m not too sure about them yet. I bark at them and chase them all of the time.  We have lots of kids in and out of our house and I have been very nice to them – no jumping or mouthing at all.

I’m pretty good about letting my foster family know when I need to go outside and have only had a few accidents in the house.  I have a crate and I am not a huge fan of it but I am slowly learning to like it. I go in the crate for a few hours during the day when my foster family is gone.  I yell a lot at first but eventually calm down and relax. I cannot wait to find my forever family!
