Hi, my name is Gia. My breed is not really known, but my foster family thinks I might be a terrier/lab mix - I will probably be a nice medium sized dog when I am fully grown. I weigh around 8 lbs and was born at the end of May. My sister and I were dropped off at a rural KY shelter but were lucky enough to land in a loving IL rescue and foster home. We are getting a really good start on important things like where to go potty (outside!). I am already ringing the bell when I need to go outside. I am a bit shy, but I am very sweet and loving. I like sitting in your lap when I am not busy exploring or playing with my sister and the other family dogs. I would love a big yard of my own to play and explore in. My foster mom thinks I will be a lot of fun to train because I am smart and I want to please. I cannot wait to find my forever family so I can get started with puppy classes! The adoption fee of $400.00 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. Obedience training may be required by Starfish as a condition of adoption.
