Marley is 9months old and was previously adopted through Starfish Animal Rescue as a young puppy but sadly instead of being returned to us he was dumped in a shelter who immediately contacted us based on his microchip.
His foster dad went to bust him out of the shelter environment and he is currently living in Westchester IL along with his foster's 2 big dogs and resident cat who thinks she is a dog. We believe that due to Marley being abandoned alone and scared he is a bit anxious about being left... which should correct itself once he feels loved and safe again. Marley is neutered and very much a lover, not a fighter. Marley loves to curl up with you at night or sit quietly with you on the couch. Marley will need a patient owner who won't abandon him. Marley walks great on a leash, loves to play with his toys and bones. Marley would benefit from a beginners puppy training
course. Marley would be fine with other canines or as an only dog and is wonderful with all people and children. Marley is still young but probably will not get much bigger - perhaps around 10 to 15 lbs.

The adoption fee of $300.00 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. Although we make the best guess on the breed and size of our dogs, because they come from shelters, we can never be completely certain of the genetic makeup of the dog. All we can tell you for sure is that they are 100% RESCUED!
