HI! My name is Olive. I am a 7 lb Aussie Sheperd mix who came up from Kentucky and live with my brother Popeye in my foster home. My foster mom says I'm the Alpha between myself and my brother, but Popeye is slowly standing his ground better against me.I am a licker and a nibbler as I am a teething puppy. Up until now, we have been sleeping a lot, but now we are sleeping less and getting more energy to run in circles through the house. I am a very smart dog but also timid so no loud negative reinforcement as I do not like that and will cower away. I am getting better at understanding "home" to go to my crate. This usually means I was found with a pair of shoes. I do have toys, but I still really like shoes so keep them away, as well as anything with fringe aka blankets, or I will think it is fair game.

I am smart when using the pee pad and I LOVE using the potty outside; until I get distracted by a leaf that is. The best part is that I get a treat every time I use the potty so when I run back inside, I sit down right away and like a good puppy until I get one. I love belly rubs and am also slowly starting to give high fives when I am on my back.

I am still confused what this dangly thing is around my neck but mama says I need to get used to wearing one. It makes a lot of noise and has a tag on it. I try to scratch it off. It's ok, I am sure I will learn! Right now, I just want to find my forever home as soon as possible! I love kids, other dogs, and I don't mind cats at all. I probably would do best in a home with a fenced in yard so I can run and play as much as I want. Will you please come meet me and let me show you what a wonderful family member I will be?

The adoption fee of $450.00 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. Although we make the best guess on the breed and size of our dogs, because they come from shelters, we can never be completely certain of the genetic makeup of the dog. All we can tell you for sure is that they are 100% RESCUED!
