Hi everyone my name is Oak but my "human" friends call me Oakey! I was born on Nov. 1st with my 3 other siblings in my foster home where I currently live with my mom, 3 other doggies that call this their "forever home", 2 feline friends, 2 mini humans and of course my foster mom and dad! When you look at my photos you can see why my foster parents were surprised when we were born since we look nothing like our mom! So, they decided to do a DNA test on us to find out what breed our dad was and it came back and said I'm part Chihuahua, Jack Russell Terrier and Bluetick Coonhound!!! What a mix right? You can definitely say we are one of a kind! Anyways, all of my siblings have been adopted and I'm still looking for my "forever family". My foster mom tells me I'm such a good boy all the time, I potty outside, sleep in my bed all night long and I've already learned how to walk on a leash! My foster mom tells me I'm a pretty chill little guy for being a puppy, I love to snuggle on the couch with my human friends, play fetch with my ball and watch animal planet! Yes, I like the T.V. so I also get called a couch potato sometimes!! I'm current on all my vaccines, neutered, micro chipped, and at 4 months old I'm weighing in at 13lbs. Although I live in a home with other doggies and get along great with them I've had some encounters with bigger doggies and they were so scary to me!!!!! My foster mom told me I have "small dog syndrome" whatever that means, so I would probably do well in a home where I was an only pup or had a canine sibling no bigger then 25lbs. I'm working really hard with my foster mom to get over my fear of big dogs and although I'm starting to tolerate them, I definitely can't see myself playing with them! OH, and I almost forgot to tell you that the human kids are awesome! I love to go for walks with Ella, she is 8! Ben is 9 and he plays fetch with me until I pass out!! Mom tells me I'm a good boy all the time because I'm very gentle with the kids and don't jump or nip like most puppies! I would love to find a forever family to call my own, please fill out an application if you would like to meet me and thanks for taking the time to read all about me! Hopefully if your the right family for me, we will meet soon! Love, Oakey
