Hi! My name is Elsa. I was found outside by myself and taken to a high kill shelter in KY before an IL rescue brought me here to find my forever home. They tell me I am part German Shepard and part Corgi. I am very tiny (4 lbs!), but I love to play and be around people. I am potty trained to go on pee pads and I sleep all night long in my crate. I do prefer to sleep in my crate when my human is nearby since I feel safe that way. I am teething right now and do not have littermates to tell me that sometimes my sharp teeth hurt, so I will have to continue to learn appropriate behavior with my new family. I will be best in a home with kids over 8. I am cute and lovable, love to play and love everyone. I would probably prefer a home with dogs closer to my size since I think a bigger one might accidentally step on me! Will you be my forever family?
The adoption fee of $400.00 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. Although we make the best guess on the breed and size of our dogs, because they come from shelters, we can never be completely certain of the genetic makeup of the dog. All we can tell you for sure is that they are 100% RESCUED!
If you are interested in adopting, please visit our website at www.starfishanimalrescue.com. Once you complete and submit your dog adoption application we will set up an appointment to meet this pup! Elsa is being fostered in CARY, IL.
