Hi everyone!I am Sylvester's foster mom, and my heart's greatest desire for this loving boy is for him to find his Forever Family for the new year. Sylvester is a 7 yr old 17 lb Terrier/Pom mix with at least a splash of Chihuahua there. He really is a bundle of personality who loves nothing better than his humans. Want to sit on the couch? Sylvester is down to cuddle! Bedtime? Awesome - Sylvester will crawl under the covers and settle right next to you. Want to play? Cool! Sylvester loves his squeaky toys! He gives lots, and lots, and LOTS of kisses and loves back scratches.

Sylvester would be a wonderful dog for a family with cats (he loves his kitty foster brother) as an only dog for someone who wants a best friend, or as a second dog in a home with a larger female dog. Sylvester should be in a home with kids 8 and older as younger children may not understand that he doesn't want to be grabbed and pulled - he lives with a 10 and 11 yr old right now and adores them. When they are sick, he sleeps right by them.

Sylvester has done very well with his house-breaking, and he is a good boy who does not chew up things that he should not. Sylvester also has the cutest curly tail you have ever seen. This guy just wants someone to be his forever companion.

Sylvester has as sponsor for most of his fee! His adoption fee is just $50 and this will include his neuter, microchip, required vaccinations and any other necessary medical treatment to ensure his health. Although we make the best guess on the breed and size of our dogs, because they come from shelters, we can never be completely certain of the genetic makeup of the dog. All we can tell you for sure is that they are 100% RESCUED!
