Meet Rambo! Rambo is a German Shepherd/Retriever mix, born around November 2014. He is still a puppy, but a really big one at over 50 lbs! Rambo is a happy rambunctious guy, wants to play and burn off energy but doesn't understand why anyone would toss a ball yet.He does understand and appreciate lots of stuffed animals, even if just to distribute them himself throughout the house. He likes lots of stuffed toys to sleep with as well. Rambo also likes to chew on store-bought antlers and wood-pile logs. He loves to be outdoors, but not alone, walking with his person, where he'll pretty much stay, but is not above chasing down a rabbit or trying to jump up to meet a flying bird, at which times he's running full speed ahead. Rambo is leash trained and potty trained. He's persistent when it comes to wanting to be pet - he loves attention! Rambo also wants to sit wherever his person sits, exactly that spot, so his person will have to accommodate or at least allow him to cuddle very very closely. Like many Shepherds, he herds, he pokes, he prods, and this means cats and probably children. He would likely do better in a home with older kids given his size and playful nature. Rambo desperately loves and appreciates affection and human companionship, and often walks no more than 6 inches away from his person, so sudden stops and turns can get comical and trippy. He is going to make a forever family very, very happy someday!

The adoption fee of $400.00 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. Although we make the best guess on the breed and size of our dogs, because they come from shelters, we can never be completely certain of the genetic makeup of the dog. All we can tell you for sure is that they are 100% RESCUED!
