Lacy is a sweet, pure white Boxer mix dog who is around 2 years old and weighs about 50 lbs. When she came into rescue, she had just weaned a litter of puppies. All of her pups have found their homes and now Lacy is just waiting for her special family to find her. Her personality is timid at first but downright spunky once she understands you are her friend and love her. In addition, if she does need correction as she is learning her new family expectations, she will need a patient family that will correct her softly and kindly. Boy, does she want to please though, is easy to train, and loves her treats! She will even dance pretty for one! She walks wonderfully on a leash and would love a fenced back yard to stretch her legs in! Her current foster home doesn't have a fenced yard but that would be ideal :) She does have a fabulous spunk to her though and loves rough and tumble play with her furfriends when she gets it. In fact, Lacy should be placed into a home with other dogs as she truly feels her best when she has fur siblings around her. She would also be best in a home with children 8 and older. She is crate trained and completely housebroken. She does like to chew on the occasional shoe though if she is bored or feels like she is not getting enough attention so keep those toys handy to help entertain her!

The adoption fee of $300.00 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. Starfish will sponsor a training class at A Sound Beginning so that Lacy and her new family have the best possible start in life.
