Meet Gaston! Gaston was rescued from a shelter in Easter KY. Gaston is an amazing dog with a rough life to put it mildly. Gaston (a.k.a. GUS) is 10 yrs old & deaf. He is however, completely housebroken & has never made a mistake while being fostered over the past couple of months. He loves other dogs, gets along with cats, & LOVES all humans! Gaston has had a rough life .... not only is he deaf & in a successful recovery period from heartworm, someone used him as target practice when he lived in Kentucky (before entering the Shelter there). Gaston has approximately 30+ pellets (or buckshot) lodged in his body, and suffers from arthritis. Throughout everything Gaston remains positive. I think he is soooo grateful to have a warm place to sleep, a Foster Family that loves him, and e square meals a day! He would truly make a wonderful & loyal companion animal to a potential Adopter .... you could ride out his "golden years" together!
Gaston is part of our "Santa's Senior Special" adopt a Senior event! There is a reduced adoption fee of $150.00 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family.
