Meet Aaron! His foster mom calls him Milton Charles...it's a much more distinguished name for a very distinguished gentleman!

Aaron/Milton weighs about 6lbs and is approximately 10-12 years old. He came to Starfish with a bad case of pneumonia, very ill, and hair loss from a flea infestation. After a couple weeks on antibiotics, some good food and lots of love, he is a new man! He loves to prance around and is very playful and interactive with people. He also loves the other dogs in the foster home, but does need to be kept separate from the puppy in the home as Milton is just too fragile for a crazy puppy to play with. He really enjoys the 2 older laid-back female dogs and will search them out when he is ready to snuggle up. Such a Casanova!

His foster mom thinks he would be a great companion for an empty-nester who would like a walking companion and a snuggle companion. Although Milton loves everyone, we do think he would do best in a home with older of no kids, simply due to his small stature. He also does fine with the cats in the foster home, but doesn't like them coming near his bed or food.

Milton will be seeing a doggie dentist this week (4/22/14) to see what can be done about his remaining teeth that are not in great shape. Once we get that taken care of, he will be ready for his new home!

All Milton/Aaron wants is someone to open their home to a great little companion who still has a lot of good years left in him. He promises he will be a good boy and love you for the rest of his life!

The adoption fee of $250.00 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family.
