My name is Cookie, and I’m about a year old and weigh around 40 pounds. I came from a shelter in Kentucky. My foster mom isn’t sure what my life was like before coming to Illinois but I was very timid and hungry when I got here. I also had a beautiful litter of puppies who are now ready for their forever home. I have had lots of nutrition and a nurturing environment so that I can be myself again! I love to snuggle with any blankets or bed you might have for me, I love to go for walks, explore the neighborhood and spend time in the fenced in yard, I take treats very nicely, I’m learning to sit and I will come right up to you with all the wiggles asking for pets and hugs. I get along with other dogs really well but I’m not so sure about cats since I haven’t seen any yet. Also I played really well with a young child! I took my mom duties very seriously but now that my pups are old enough, I’m looking for my forever home! Please consider loving me, I would be so grateful.
